History of the Qur'an

The arrival of the Holy Quran

The arrival of the Holy Quran

Allah has distinguished the Holy Quran by making it the ring of the heavenly books, and keeping it from increasing and decreasing, and distorting and switching, he said: (and your Lord has spoken truthfully and justly, not changing his words, and he is the hearing and the knowing), and has preserved a drawing and a word since his descent on Muhammad-peace be upon him - until irrigated authority.

It is worth mentioning that one of the most important reasons for memorizing the Holy Quran verbally: the power of memorization and memory, in addition to urging to memorize it in the hearts of every age.

 ?What is frequency

Frequency is defined as: the transfer of a large number of people from another number that is impossible to agree on lying, from the first bond to the end, and has been contained in the Koran many evidence that shows its frequency, including: the saying of Allah-may he be exalted-: (O Messenger of Allah, reach what was revealed to you from your Lord, and if- Also: (we ourselves have revealed the gold infinite mercy, knowledge), and saved the Holy Quran only in frequency.

Evidence of Quran frequency

It shows the frequency of the Holy Quran memorized by a number of senior companions-may Allah be pleased with them -, such as Uthman ibn Affan, Zaid ibn Thabit, Abdullah ibn mas'ud, Abu Darda, Abu Musa al-Ash'ari, Abu Ibn ka'b, and Ali ibn Abi Talib-may Allah be pleased with all of them-and they preserved it in the breasts during the Ibn ' Umar (may Allah be pleased with all of them), as the Holy Qur'an was transmitted to save the companions to large numbers of followers, who are difficult to count or count them, for example, Abu al-Darda-may Allah be pleased with him- He taught the Qur'an to nearly one thousand six hundred men, and every ten men had a reciter.

It is narrated that Abdullah bin mas'ud-may Allah be pleased with him - had ordered a man to read the hymn when he heard him read hastily, so Ibrahim al-Nakhai said: "he read alqma on Abdullah, as if he had a hurry, he said: Fedak my father and mother, a hymn, It embellished the Quran", Imam Al - dhahabi-may Allah have mercy on him-mentioned twenty Imam Ibn al-Jazari-may Allah have mercy on him- The number of translations of readers reached four thousand, which also indicates that the number of students maintain a large compared to the number of readers, and it follows from the above that the frequency and health of things cut achieved in all ages, it is worth mentioning that the Muslim scholars have been unanimous on the frequency of the Holy Quran, recounted in-: "He knows on bits and bits, that the reading of the Qur'an we have received frequently from all the sheikhs, a generation, a generation, to the Holy age, to the messenger of Allah-peace be upon him-".

The arrival of the Holy Quran

The messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was the keenest people to memorize the Holy Quran and take care of its verses, especially since he is the first in charge of communicating it to the Ummah, which indicates the intensity of his interest in the Holy Quran and his command to the companions (may Allaah be pleased with them) to- The messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), whenever verses from the Qur'an are revealed to him, commands the book of revelation from the companions (may Allaah be pleased with them) to write them, and forbids them from writing anything other than the Qur'an, in order to ensure that the verses of the Qur'an are not mixed with awkward), as it were-PBUH- The book of Revelation orders each verse to be placed in place, until the revelation is complete.

It should be noted that the messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was urging his companions-may Allaah be pleased with them - and encouraging them to memorize the Holy Quran, recite it, review the memorization, and pledge it; lest he escape from them, he said-peace be upon him -: (pledge the Quran, which myself with his hand is thus, the companions-may Allah be pleased with them-memorized the Holy Quran during the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), and wrote it down.

Quran collection

In the era of Abu Bakr al-Siddiq took Abu Bakr al - Siddiq-may Allah be pleased with him-the succession of Muslims after the death of the messenger of Allah-may Allah be pleased with him -, and some of the Arab tribes of the new era of Islam have defected from him, so Al-Siddiq - may Allah be pleased with him-decided to fight them, and the Islamic- He hesitated at the beginning, and his reply was: "how do you do something that the messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) did not do," and Omar (may Allaah be pleased with him) continued to convince him of the matter until Allah explained his chest.

It should be noted that the reason for the reluctance of Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) to collect the Qur'an at the beginning is due to his fear that he would invent something in religion, and then Allah explained his chest, and in fact the collection of the Qur'an was not a heresy, but it was a the Qur'an is written for the written, and the companions have been gathered-may Allah be pleased with them- As Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "the greatest people in the Qur'an are Abu Bakr, Abu Bakr was the first to combine the two tablets".

Collection of the Qur'an during the reign of Osman

The second collection of the Holy Quran took place during the reign of the commander of the faithful Osman bin Affan -may Allah be pleased with him -; the main reason in it is due to the occurrence of disagreement between people in the readings, specifically in the performance letters, and reading faces; and that after the expansion of the Islamic State and the entry of non-Arabs- After consulting the flags of the companions-may Allah be pleased with them-and the opinion-holders, he copied the Holy Quran in the Qur'an, and distributed it to the princes, and the Ummah gathered on one Qur'an, and burned the rest of the Qur'an.

Imam al-Bukhari in his Saheeh from Anas ibn Malik-may Allah be pleased with him -: (that Huzaifah Ibn Al-Yaman, presented to Uthman and he was invading the people of Al-Shamma in the Armenian conquest, and Azerbaijan with the people of Iraq, so Huzaifah frightened their difference in reading, Huzaifah said to Uthman: O commander of the believers, realize this nation, before they differ in the: So I sent Hafsa to Uthman, so Zayd ibn Thabit, Abdullah ibn Zubayr, sa'id Ibn al-Aas, and Abdul Rahman Ibn al-Harith Ibn Hisham fenskhoha in the Qur'an, and Uthman said to the three Quranic Rahat: If you and Zayd ibn Thabit disagree about something in the Qur'an, write it in the tongue of the Quraysh, but if it comes down in their tongue, do so even if they copy newspapers in the Qur'an, Uthman returns the newspapers to Hafsa, and sends to every horizon a Koran of what they copied, and he orders that the other in every newspaper or Koran, to burn).

The Islamic nation's interest in the Holy Quran

Allah sent down the Holy Quran on the seal of the prophets and messengers, so that it may be a guide and a light for the worlds; and whoever believes in it survives, and whoever adheres to it from misguidance and temptation, and whoever rules by it is just, and Allah has pledged- Save the Holy Quran from misrepresentation, imperfection, and loss, said-almighty-: The nation of Islam has kept it since the time of the messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), so they adhered to the provisions and legislations that he had written, and worked with them, and took care of him with great care; it is the Muslim scholars who spent his life researching the interpretation of his verses, and some of the scholars took care of the expression of the Holy Qur'an, and some of them took care of what came down in it from the stories and judgment.

Thus, Muslims have taken care of the Holy Quran in all ages with great care, and this is also evidenced by their editing of readings, and the distinction between abnormal ones, and frequent, in addition to that they set a number of rules that do not prove reading only by them, namely: the approval of reading to the face of grammar, the- They came to the conclusion that what came down before the hijra is a Makiya, and what came down after it is a civilian, and they looked at the order of the verses, and they showed that it is a taqqafi, and they were also interested in studying the drawing of the Holy Quran, and other sciences.
